I went to a local Irish festival, here in Ohio (okay, authenticity was lacking, but hey, it was fun! And any excuse to drink beer and watch men in skirts is good by me.) And this picture was the result. I'm submitting it to Ballistic's Exotique 4; hope it makes it in! I like free books too...

(I didn't mark this 'mature content' because you reeeeeally have to look for any sign of boob. You guys let me know if I should change that. Just in case the odd prude should happen through. :horny: )

LOL i submitted a few of my own paintings, the most detailed recent ones, and a few Zenescope romano covers (beauty and the beast, times square, 3 girls)

i think it was about 7 pieces total. i hope we both get in for sure!

although this could be a younger boudica because i always imagined her to be a bit older. she had a teenage daughter(s) according to legend.

Man, that hair DID give me eye-strain. I never know what possesses me: I always swear I'm NEVER gonna paint curly hair again...and then look what I go and do. Stop the insanity!

Yeah, this is a bit of a contemporary spin on the tale, and hardly the stern, warrior woman of legend! I very much played to favorites with this one. Red hair is always popular, as well as all things Celtic. I'm such a cheat! Next time, I'm gonna paint a Goth, winged, sexy catlady. Works every time... ;)
